Australia trip - Melbourne 3

Last day in Melbourne!  Gonna use our time wisely cos we have to take bus to Sydney around 7pm.  
The first place we went that morning is National Gallery of Victoria which is the oldest public art museum in Australia. I can tell you, there were many many artistic things inside. Even outside of the building gave me the 'art' feeling.

メルブルンの最後の日だ。７時にバスに乗ってシドニーに行くから、時間を上手く使わなきゃ！最初行った所はオーストラリアで最も歴史が長い公共の芸術博物館であるNational Gallery of Victoria, NGVだ。あそこは、たくさんの作品があるだ。外にいても、アートな感じがする。

Today we had Indian food as lunch because it was cheap and seemed interesting. At there, we met a Japanese girl, Erica. She was doing volunteer work there at the indian restaurant. She told us many things about Australia and shared with us her story also. Glad to have a chat with her. 

今日の昼ご飯はインド料理だ。なぜなら、安くて面白そうだ。ここで、エリカという日本人の女性と会った。彼女はそのインドレストランでボランティアをしているんだ。オーストラリアの事や自分のストーリーをたくさん教えてくれた。お話できて良かった。

Linh wanted to visit the jail. So here we are. Old Melbourne Gaol which was built at 1845 and stopped being used at 1920. We joined the half an hour $20 tour.
Strongly recommend everyone to join this tour! Coz the tour was too special. A strict sergeant who was supposed to be our tour guide treated us like prisoners, shouted at us and locked us in the prison. A special experience.

リンは刑務所に行きたかった。だからここに来た。旧メルブルン監獄は1845年に建てられ、1920年に使わなくなった。私たちは$20の30分間のツアーに参加した。特別だから超オススメだ。ツアーガイドはずの厳しい士官が私たちを囚人のように扱ったり、私たちに叫んだり、刑務所にロックしたりした。とても特別の経験だった。

 At night, we had pasta and pizza for dinner. This place had a lot of famous people come and eat so the walls are full of photos. Can't deny, the food are delicious.

夜には、パスタとピッザを夕食にした。ここではたくさんの有名人が来た事があって、壁にはたくさんの写真が掛けられた。否定できないが、ここの食べ物が美味しい！

Australia trip - Melbourne Day 2

We went to Prahran Market near by our hotel. You can see local people buying meats, fishes and vegetables there. Modern market compare to my country's.

フーランマーケットに行って来た。ローカルがあそこで肉、魚や野菜などを買う姿がここで見れる。母国のマーケットと比べたらモダンだ。

I know spaghetti. But I didn't now that spaghetti is a kind of pasta and there are many many kinds of pasta. Wow!

スペゲティは知っているが、パスタの種類の一つであり、それ以外にもたくさんのパスタがあることが知らなかった。偉大な発見だ。

After that, we went to another market, Queen Victoria Market. At there, we saw a hot doughnut bus with 4 workers selling hot doughnuts. The girl served us gave everybody a warm greeting and the doughnuts were hot and fresh. totally worth it for $1 per one.

その後、もう一つのマーケット、Queen Victoria Marketに行った。そこで、４人が熱いドーナツを売るのバスを見つけた。セールスガールが一人一人に温かい挨拶をして、ドーナツも熱くて新鮮、＄１に値するんだ。

Yesterday we spent too munch so today we just simply eat. Pizza at the market. $7 for two.
昨日は食べ過ぎたから今日はちょっと節約。マーケットで＄７２枚のピッザを食べた。

And then we went to Melbourne Museum. It was free for students. Things inside are very high-tech. Many touch screens explaining the stories and professors' movies about their researches make us easier to understand.

その後メルボルン博物館に行った。学生は何と入場無料だ。中の物がハイテクだった。ターチスクリンやプロフェッサーの映像があり、私たちが分かりやすくするようにかなり工夫した。

At night, we had dinner at a Vietnam restaurant which has good reputation. The world is just too small. I was eating my noodles and four chinese boys sat down beside me. I looked over and hey, they're my juniors. They were also traveling to Melbourne and we met at this kind of place. Wow~

夜に、評価が良いベトナム料理で夕食をした。世界が小さすぎるだ。面を食べている時に四人の中国系の男が隣に座っていた。横を向いたら、あらっ、後輩だった。彼らもメルボルンに遊びにきて、まさかここで会うことになった。わ〜

Australia Trip - Melbourne Day 1

It was 26/8.

Actually my darling and I reached here last night around 11.30pm but we just went to our hostel and didn't enjoyed anything so no count. Haha!

We stayed at Claremount GuestHouse with is at South Yarra for 3 nights at Melbourne.
Good things are, cheap and clean
Bad things are, no private bathroom and a bit far from the city

実は、私と彼が着いたのは昨日の夜11時半だったが、どこへも行っていなかったのでノーカウント！

South Yarra にある Claremount GuestHouse に三泊を泊まることになった。
そこの良い点は：安くて綺麗
悪い点は：自分のシャワー室がなく、都心部からは離れている

Early in the morning of our first day, we walked from our hotel to Royal Botanic Gardens. It was the end of the winter so the day was a bit cool. Royal Botanic Gardens was established in 1846. It extends to 38 hectares and displays over 50000 plants from around the world. We wandered around the gardens and saw some runners and families picnicking there.

朝早く、ホテルから 王立植物園まで歩いていた。冬の終わりだから天気が涼しくて気持ちいい。王立植物園は1846年に設立され、38ヘクターに拡張され、世界中から50000種類以上の植物が集められている。植物園の中でジョギングする人やピクニックする家庭が見える。

Yeah! Reached Melbourne City Centre. The design of the buildings here is what I've never seen before. So artistic, so colorful.

いよいよメルボルンシティーセントラルの辿り着いた。ここの建物のデザインは見たことなく芸術的、華やかである。

We were starved by noon so went straight to lunch at Hardware lane. There had many restaurant there and we choose Big Boy at last coz it seemed delicious and perhaps not that expensive. I let Linh ordered the food and unbelievably, he bought us $49 meal. Super expensive!

お腹空いたからHardware Laneへ行って食事をした。あそこではたくさんのレストランがあって、結局美味しそうに見え、安そうだと思ったBig Boyを選んだ。リンにオーダーをお願いしていた。信じられないのは彼は＄４９もかかるものを注文した。高い！

This is State Library of Victoria. I was totally speechless. It was just too awesome. Standing in front of it,  I even feel like I become cleverer. Just joking^^

これがビクトリア州立図書館だ。素晴らしすぎで口がきけなくなった。図書館の前に立ち、なんかちょっと賢くなったみたい。冗談冗談^^

After walking around the streets, we met Linh's friend, James who was living in Melbourne. He brought us to a famous Chinese restaurant for dinner. We had vege, fried meat dumplings and steamed vegetable dumplings. Quite delicious.

商店街を歩いてから、メルボンに住んでいるリンの友達、Jamesと会った。夕食に有名な中華料理店に連れて行ってもらった。一品の野菜炒め、揚げ餃子と蒸し餃子を注文して、美味しかった。

At night, we went shopping at a supermarket and bought quite a lot of chocolates. Hope won't get pimples. 

夜には、スーパーで買い物して、たくさんのチョコを買った。ニキビが無いように^^
